The Georgian Centre for Psychosocial and Medical Rehabilitation of Torture Victims was established in 2000. Since then the organization is providing psychological, medical, legal and social assistance to victims of torture, inhuman treatment and their family members as well as other traumatized groups in Georgia. GCRT works with Internally Displaced Persons, Refugees, war affected populations, family members of missing persons in the center’s facilities and through community outreach; as well as with adult and juvenile prisoners in various prisons in Georgia.
