A struggle between Traditional Healing and Psychotherapy in (South) Africa: do the clients need an Integrated Model?

In one of the most diverse populations in the world, the (South) African population has a complex cultural composition. Because of the cultural differences, individuals differ in their value and belief systems. This study has found that the perception of the (South) African population toward the use of psychotherapy and traditional healing as treatment methods vary greatly.
